Beyond reality and design
Beyond reality and design is a collaboration between FORUM8 and TEAM IWAKIRI PRODUCTS Co. Ltd that explores the combination of 3D/VR/AR technology and Italian design. The project presents “Shade3D” software for 3D graphic modelling in its integral version; “FORUM8 Virtual Platform System (F8VPS)” that can construct and visualize a digital twin of any real world environment on cloud; “VR Design Studio UC-win/Road” and the multi-platform software for game development “Suite Chidori Engine”. The latest technological solutions including a large transparent LCD screen, VR contents connected to sensing systems, an earthquake simulation system and different types of analysis systems, will be displayed in a dedicated area where visitors can also interact with 3DVR models representing CAPPELLINI furniture, a long-established Italian contemporary design company.
