Materials Village, the hub of Material ConneXion Italia dedicated to materials, new technologies and sustainability, returns from April 17th to 22nd in Superstudio spaces. Each year Materials Village proposes an impressive exhibition design, but doubles its size for this 5th edition, with two large installations by Studio Marco Piva and Yona Friedman respectively: a spectacular tower of materials and another installation of excellence on the theme of circular economy by the famous designer Yona Friedman for CONAI and Consorzi di Filiera for packaging recycle. Among the many new features, a name of excellence such as PUMA with the MIT Design Lab of Boston will participate with a research project on a high-performance fabric that reacts according to the percentage of air pollution.
