The Living Atelier
OBJKT Studio is a Singapore-based contemporary atelier that creates intelligent forms that bridge the gaps between architecture and industrial design. A “living atelier” curated by the designer Erwin Pimenta that constantly explores innovative methods of design and production, reinterpreting heritage and tradition to create a flexible and organic design philosophy suited to a contemporary and increasingly modular lifestyle.
Inspired by travel, the debut collection “6 Series” shows off various materials and colors moldable to one's lifestyle and preferences; the Flat Iron collection is inspired by Mies van der Rohe's minimalist saying “less is more”.
OBJKT Studio's products are timeless in form, function and materials. As a brand, OBJKT Studio is also deeply aware of the responsibility that designers have in terms of the industry's commitment to sustainability. While good design will always be visually appealing, great design lays the foundation for a better planet for the generations to come and how art and fashion embrace a cyclical perspective.
