SUNBRELLA ® (France)
“Connexions by Charles Pétillon”.
On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Sunbrella® will be presenting an artistic installation called ‘Connexions’ by French photographer and artist Charles Pétillon. The artists installation consists of 10 enormous balloons, all inter-connected and covered in the latest Sunbrella fabrics. The inflatable structure was transported and photographed in various different indoor and outdoor spaces, to contextualize and evoke a meaningful interpretation of Sunbrella textiles. Both the installation and series of art photographs will be exhibited at SUPERDESIGN SHOW.
Through this interpretation, Charles Pétillon creates connections between the reality and virtuality of images, and offers the viewer a new experience of the brand. The project will also be accompanied by a video documenting the behind-the-scenes of this artistic journey.
