Playful Minimalism

Woo is a young Ukrainian company founded back in 2015 and based in Kiev. Designer Dmitry Kozinenko presents for the first time in Milan his most recent collection “Playful minus to think beyond the object itself and its function. It is an unusual and asymmetrical sitting, with three focal points, two round discs, perpendicular to each other, that start a game firewoodwood sticks piled up next to the woodstove by the father of the designer, three sticks over three sticks and so on. Drova, a basic and functional pouf, suggests a stable architecture, that in the intersections between the single elements opens up to new forms, serving also as an empty space to store personal objects. The chair Axe hugs the sitter with its armrest, while its T-shaped back is a stable and stiff support. The coffee table PLane has an asymetrical form and sculptural lines, it brings an artistic bood in the home, functional and minimalist.
